The College of Business Management & Professional Studies offers four-year undergraduate academic degree programs for students who wish to pursue professional undergraduate education degrees in: Entrepreneurship, with emphasis in business creation, retail, wholesale real estate and logistical management; Farm Management, with emphasis in botany, agronomy and animal husbandry; Mining Management, with emphasis in geological engineering and soil science.
The college will endeavor to equip its students with comprehensive concepts, skills, ability, and knowledge they will need to function effectively in professional positions. It is our objective to develop sound leadership in our graduates and install in them the importance of education as a key foundation for career of self-education. Each degree will be academic practical specific.

Liberia with its blessings of greenery, fertile land, abundant rainfall, is poised to improve its people’s livelihood through farming and farm management. All the major plantations are foreign owned and operated. Training Liberians in this area will help change this paradigm.
The Farm Management major prepares students to establish and manage Farm. In addition to mastery in knowing how to create, setup and manage a farm. The student also has to select a minor in a specific farm aspect such as agronomy, botany, animal science. The curriculum provides a balanced course of study that exposes students to a common body of knowledge and leads them to understand Farm Management processes and situations, this major helps the student think independently, become self-directing, communicate effectively and appreciate his/her self-worth. Students with a major in Farm Management will be well-positioned to be innovative with an entrepreneurial spirit.

The Main object of Farm management is to obtain the maximum net profit from the various enterprises on the farm. The main aim is to get maximum net returns from the farm as a whole that leads to success. The objective: It gives you the best opportunity to maintain control, avoid serious pitfalls and capitalize on opportunities:
Students in farm management will also study the principles of economics, finance, risk and the decision-making process all central to the successful management of a farm enterprise. Students develop skills to combine and managed land, labor and capital resources for a comparative return. Also, students will learn how to appraise farmland and other assets. Farm (and other asset) appraisal is growing part of professional farm management and can be pursued as a profession in itself.
Liberia is rich in resources that require mining; there are many mining facilities, in Liberia they include, diamond, gold, iron ore, etc. all major mineral resource concession are owned and operated by foreigners, largely because they have the capital needed for investment, Liberians may not have the funds but there is no reason we are also unable to acquire the training needed to manage some of these concessions. The WRTBU is here to answer that need for the children of Liberia. Simple areas of our mining operations are being manned by foreigners. This major is designed to empower Liberians and provide jobs.
The Mining Management Engineering is the development and preparation of a mine in order to safely and efficiently remove the resources, while protecting the environment. Resources extracted during mining are used in variety of modern-day products from toothpaste to cell phones to cars.

As a mining major at WRTBU, you will be learning at one of the only such programs nationwide, you will also receive hand experience with industry grade equipment management training and the opportunity to survey a mile underground facility.
As a mining engineer, you will identify the location of valuable and accessible materials deposits and devise processes for extracting them safely from the earth for use in manufacturing and utilities. Mining is a broad profession which embraces all required activities to facilities the recovery of valuable minerals and products from the earth crust for the benefit of humanity.
International Relations Studies will introduce the student to the world of politics and the social-historical past and present impact on the future of global development. The student will learn about the different political systems and governing policies around the world; understanding how they connect with the broad range of international issues, such as human rights, global poverty, climate change, global ethics, etc.

During a Bachelor’s in International Relations, the student can expect to take classes on Economics, Politics and Government, Public policy, Business Behaviors, Global Conflict and Global Security and Environmental sustainability etc. a degree in International Relations will combine the above disciplines in various ways as to ensure the graduates proficiency in diplomacy and International Relations.
