Liberia is still that country which “produces that which she does not consume and consumes that which she doesn’t product.” The WRTBU intends to change that. The College of Agriculture and Forestry offers four-year undergraduate academic degree programs for students who wish to pursue professional undergraduate education degrees in: Agronomy, Animal Science, Forestry and Botany with emphasis in Crop Science, Animal husbandry, Forest Conservation and Plants development for sustainability.
The college will endeavor to equip its students with comprehensive concepts, skills, ability, and knowledge they will need to function effectively in their respective professional positions. It is our objective to develop sound leadership in our graduates and instill in them the importance of education as a key foundation for career of self-development, and nation building. Each degree will be academic practical specific.
Agronomy/Crop Science: A candidate for the Bachelor degree in Crops Science is required to complete a minimum of 136-140 credit hours within the following areas.

The Bachelor of Science in Agronomy allows the student to develop and demonstrate knowledge and understanding, skills, qualities and other attributes in Crop Science.
Students who complete the Bachelor of Science in Agronomy will be able to:
Use science and technology for the production of plants using models of chemical, land development and conservation in the production of plants/crops for food, fuel and fiber, minimum mastery in plant genetics and soil science are key to this study.

A major in Animal Science provides an in-depth study of animals and associated techniques. This study is a hands-on approach that enables students to experience deep exploration and discovery of problems and solutions to challenging issues.

A course in Forestry and Environmental Technology will provide the technical scientific and practice needed to contribute to the objectives of 2030 Agenda on sustainable development. This discipline offers a solid level of preparation needed to pursue a degree in Forestry and Environmental Science.
The course of study for the degree of Bachelor of Science in Biology with emphasis in Botany takes four academic years. The minimum requirements for the degree are 130-136 semester hours. The Botany offers students many choices and allows them to tailor their programs to their interests. Students can choose from a wide range of courses covering all major areas of biology including cells and Molecules, Generics, Evolution, Physiology, Anatomy Biodiversity and Ecology.
