The Baptist University is now home to three colleges, and will eventually be home to seven colleges, and an academy of Lecture Series promoting, and certificating professional excellence.  

The rational for these colleges take root in two factors:

(a) National Need, this new style university will train for use by this nation… Innovations, entrepreneurship, farm management, mining management are few of our national needs that the Baptist University intends to address through

(b) Technical practical specific, Academic practical specific, and Character Building education.

Objectives

The General Education Core Courses give the students an opportunity to do the following:

1. Analyze information critically and think logically

2. Express themselves orally and in writing

3. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of rules and laws of mathematics

4. Develop interest in the sciences: biology, chemistry, physics

5. Demonstrate abilities to perform minimum mastery in computer operation and application

6. Apply knowledge to basic social Science and methods to analyze local/world events

7. Develop an appreciation of literature, music, art and cultural enrichment activities

8. Develop competence to participate in range of physical activities and recreation

9. Develop an understanding of national and international issues, employing skills for effective citizenship in the global community; and,

10. Develop and promote within themselves sound ethical and Christian values as building blocks for fruitful citizenship and a successful life ahead.
