The William R. Tolbert Baptist University is a school of QUALITY in everything we do; we are not opting for rank in quantity. We do not want to be the largest university in Liberia; we aspire to being the BEST University in West Africa, best in Academic Specific and best in Character.
Our Baptist High Schools are our first line feeder schools; these students desire quality university education, but their rural conditions make it impossible for them to afford quality education, capable of educating them both in mind and morals.
Young women are especially vulnerable, many get pregnant early, some enter early marriages, yet, about 60% of graduates from our high schools are females.
The annual fees, which include: Boarding, Meals, 20-hours Electricity, Computers with most Textbooks and Internet is only US$2,800.00 It is against this back drop that we solicit thirty scholarships for Ladies, twenty-five scholarships for Gens.
The VALEDICTORIAN of LBMEC High School, enters on full Scholarship but must maintain an average of 3.3 GPA. Students with an average of 3.75GPA may apply for full or partial scholarship.
Student with special gifts in music, art, dance, sports, drama, etc. maintaining an average 2.2+ GPA may apply for a full or partial scholarship.
