Admission Details

 WRTBU is a four-year vocational and technical educational program, we maintain the educational “Open Door” admission policy for all who desire and enroll can benefit from learning opportunities. Candidate must be a high school graduate, must sit and pass an Entrance and Placement Examinations to be considered for admission.

Registration Procedures

The Office of Admissions, Records and Registration of the WRTBU is responsible for all activities leading and related to registration of students. After successfully passing the Entrance and Placement Examinations, Student should obtain an Admission Letter and a control sheet from the Admissions Office and proceed to plan their courses with their college/department before completing the registration form. Approval with the signature of the Dean of Admissions must be obtained after planning of courses.

Steps to be Followed

Start Application

Fill out registration form with courses required on the schedule

Obtain Dean’s signature and others

3

Proceed to Business & Finance Office for Billing

4

Proceed to designated bank to pay/deposit your tuition and fees

5

Return to the Business and Finance Office with the Original Copy Plus a Photo Copy of the Bank Slip

6

Obtain a WRTBU’S Official receipt from the Business and Finance Office

7

Obtain a “Registration Completed” stamp from the Admissions Office

8

Make 5 sets of Photo copies of the Control sheet and one each in the following Offices:

  1. Admissions Office
  2. Business & Finance Office 
  3. Student Affairs Office 
  4. The Student’s College/Department and 
  5. The Original Copy is for the Student to keep.

Things To Know First

An Application is required for students applying to any of WRTBU’s degree. You’ll be able to choose your program that you are interested.

You will need :

  • High school graduate must present high school transcript, diploma, WAEC/WASSCE Certificate and other requirements before registration. Students transferring from accredited universities or colleges must apply early and present official transcripts to the office of Admissions, Records and Registration for verification.
  • All students seeking admission to the undergraduate program of the WRTBU for a degree program of study shall be required to have graduated from a recognized high school. See further WRTBU undergraduate Admissions Policy.
